Mom, honestly we can't say enough about mom. Mom, Carol, or Care, as her husband calls her, can handcraft anything! Purses, hats, Floral Arrangements, and beautiful jewelry. Give her some tools and quality components and watch out! As a teenager she worked in a neighborhood store on Chicago's South Side. The proprietor would give her all the craft projects to do. Things like decorating the windows, setting up displays, and creating seasonal decorations.

Carol admits, "I have always enjoyed crafts. I don't know why everyone gets so excited, I just like the way each piece looks when I'm done!" (Talk about modest!)

Her daughter, Suzy, as her soon to be step kids call her, has 20 years of marketing and customer service skills. Sue has always loved to draw and uses this skill to design jewelry. As a child she was always gathering rocks, stones and shells. Mom would always ask, "Just what are you planning on doing with those?" To which Suzy would reply with something witty.

Sue believes her inspiration came from her Grandmother. "When I was young, she would wrap beads in wire and make huge rings! I remember thinking how amazing that was to be able to make something so spectacular with your own hands." Of course grandma was simply larger than life for her. As with most young girls she believed her Grandmother could do anything!

Truth be told, we are extremely proud of our work and our business. We stand behind our work just like we stand behind each other.
